Magliolo Pools was founded by Tyler Magliolo out of necessity and a desire to bring integrity back to the pool building industry. As a proud resident of League City and native of Dickinson, Texas, Tyler has deep roots in this community and is committed to providing a service that families can truly trust.

The idea for Magliolo Pools came to life after Tyler's own frustrating experience with inflated post-COVID pool prices and untrustworthy builders. Tyler decided to hire a pool services company with over 30 years of experience. Unfortunately, the builder struggled with the complexities of engineering, permitting, and construction, leading Tyler to take matters into his own hands.

When Tyler began managing the project, he didn't just rely on his existing expertise. He went a step further by obtaining his Pool Builder Certification from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA), ensuring that he had the specialized knowledge needed to deliver top-quality results.

With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology and an MBA from Louisiana State University, along with over a decade of experience designing power plants, chemical plants, and refineries, Tyler was well-equipped to manage and complete his pool project. His expertise in piping, plant layout, and project management, combined with his certification, proved invaluable as he navigated the challenges of pool construction.

As the project progressed, it became clear that the pool industry was flooded with so-called builders who often lacked the expertise necessary to deliver quality results. Tyler witnessed firsthand how many builders would make false claims, inflate costs, and fail to understand the intricacies of the work they were supposedly experts in. This experience fueled his determination to build a company that would challenge the status quo and offer a better alternative.

Magliolo Pools was born with a vision to create a company that offers families the opportunity to build their dream backyard at a fair price. Unlike many in the industry, Tyler and his team are committed to transparency, honesty, and delivering a high-quality product without unnecessary upcharges or compromises.

While breaking into the pool industry has been a challenge, with its artificial barriers and resistance to new entrants, Tyler’s passion for doing things the right way has only grown stronger.
